Još jedan poraz za Anu. Ovog puta u prvom meču koji je igrala. I opet ta Per. Možda smo bili nerealni što smo se nadali da će uspeti da savlada Izraelku, iako je sve susrete pre ovog gubila. Mada, da se nismo nadali, ne bismo bili ni fanovi. Bili bismo objektivni.
Ja ne volim da pišem bilo kakve analize, a da prethodno nisam odgledao mečeve, tako da ću i ovog puta preskočiti taj deo. Nažalost, na američkoj turneji, sa prenosima se kreće od petka, eventualno četvrtka, što je za Anu ovih dana previše kasno. Ana će igrati u Sinsinatiju naredne nedelje, a ukoliko bude želela da igra u Montrealu, moraće da igra kvalifikacije. Na sinoćnoj konferenciji rekla je da razmišlja o tome i o uzimanju WC za nastup u Nju Hejvenu.

"It’s hard", the 22-year-old said, explaining she’s happy with the latest coaching entourage around her. “It’s up to me.
"Lots of people said you have to get your defense level better or you have to put more high balls in," she said. "But it’s just not my game. I’ve been trying to do that. I’ve been trying to change and mix around. I think I have to go back to just being aggressive and dominating," Ivanovic said. "I’m a tall girl. I have to step in. I’m not someone who’s gonna run around for three hours on the court."
"I think it’s just confidence," Ivanovic said. "When I feel there is momentum in a match shifting, I just feel I cannot really break (an opponent). I don’t really believe in my shots at that particular moment. And that’s what’s really tough."
"You just have to be patient," Ivanovic said. "It’s going take a while. Sometimes I feel it’s never ending."
The Serb may have lost her game, but not her sense of humor. Poking fun at the long road ahead, Ivanovic said, "I’m crawling."
